The amplifier chosen is the TAS3251 from the legendary Texas Instruments, which offers additional sound processing with the built-in DSP processor for a loud yet high quality sound. The speaker's total output is an impressive 210 W - enough to fill even a large room. Bi-Amping technology - separate amplification of the HF and LF channels - is used to maintain perfect tonal balance and quality reproduction of all frequencies.

Different speakers are responsible for the high and low frequencies. Silk dome tweeters handle the high-frequency range providing the maximum level of detail. And large 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) fiberglass membrane speakers deliver tight bass. As a result, SVEN MC-50 produces dense and well-balanced sound, perfect for a variety of musical styles, from hip-hop rocking with bass to classical music.

The speaker cabinet is made of dense MDF, which helps to avoid unnecessary resonances and achieve a more impressive sound - it's no secret that speakers made of wood sound better than plastic ones. The front panel is angled to direct sound toward the user's head when the speakers are placed on a table, so you don't have to worry about mounting them on stands or special shelves. The phase-inverter opening is forward, so the speaker can be placed almost right up against walls or other obstacles without noticeable damage to the sound quality.

Our engineers have also worked hard on the possibilities of connecting sound sources to the MC-50. Sound from mobile devices can be streamed wirelessly over a Bluetooth connection with virtually no loss of quality thanks to the installed Qualcomm QCC3031 chipset, which supports the aptX HD high-definition codec. For analog connection, there is a traditional RCA input. There is also a digital optical input, which is the favorite of many people and is convenient for connecting PCs, game consoles or various players.

The best part about it, however, is that it's as easy as possible to integrate into your home theater: the HDMI (Arc) port makes it easy to connect a TV to the speakers. And not only does it support audio, it also supports HDMI CEC technology, so you can control the speaker with your TV remote. SVEN MC-50 also has its own remote control - you can change the parameters of the speaker operation, as well as control the playback of Bluetooth-connected devices without getting up from the sofa.

Tone balance and volume can also be adjusted with the control knobs on the side of the active speaker. There is an LED indicator for power and standby mode, and it can be turned off - its light will not interfere with using the speaker in the dark. The SVEN MC-50 developers paid noticeable attention to even the smallest details that affect the level of comfort when using the device. As a result, they created a truly versatile Hi-Fi speakers, capable of pleasing true music and movie lovers.
