It is commonly known that the first-ever webcam was produced in 1991 and it displayed... a coffee-pot in the old computer laboratory of Cambridge University. The camera transmitted a black-and-white picture 128 by 128 points, on which users estimated whether the coffee-pot was empty or not. SVEN Company presented a new SVEN IC-957 HD model. The high-resolution sensor for 720 р provides the image definition at high-speed internet, as well as high quality of the image at its “expansion” to the entire screen. A user no longer needs to peer at a small messenger window to see his interlocutor. You can even step two meters aside the webcam. The long-focus objective lens used in the model takes a clear picture of objects both nearby and in the distance.
The SVEN IC-957 HD design is worthy of a certain notice. The main color of the device is black. At that, there are two orange strips on the camera case near to the lens, which serve as a reference point to focus eyes. The model is supplied in a handy carton. The list of features and several icons marked on its right side help users to orient themselves quickly in its characteristics. The device consists of three components, i.e. the camera case and a leg divided into two parts. They are connected to one another with the help of movable hinges, due to which you can shape the device as different figures reminiscent animals and plants. The webcam is securely fixed to the monitor, it is stable on the table surface, it is pleasant to hold it in your hands and carry it from place to place. There is the high-frequency interference ferrite filter on the cable of SVEN IC-957 HD close to USB connector. Among other things, it can serve as of a plummet and contest effectively against the cable tangling in computer wires.
