    The automatic voltage regulator of SVEN AVR series is designed to correct on-line power supply in conditions of low/high voltages. The wide range of input voltages from 100 V to 280 V enables the operation of the device in conditions of critical power supply state. The automatic voltage regulator is equipped with protection against short circuit, overload, overheating, overvoltage and undervoltage.

    The Pause function (6 or 180 seconds – at option) makes it possible to connect devices-consumers safely to the power supply network at the moment of power supply renewal. The device is equipped with voltmeters, which display the input and output voltages. Due to its strong metal shockproof case the automatic voltage regulator can be also used in technical premises such as a garage, workshop or boiler house.

    Like the more expensive model with digital indicators, SVEN AVR-1000 deserves our exceedingly high estimate. The AVR is made in a reliable metal case, and a good quality transformer allows any consumer to operate in a very wide input voltage range from 100 to 2800 V. The model can be bought for a bit more than $40, and it’s quite a good price for a 1000 VA device.
