Spectacular and immersive sound is the dream of movie buffs and fans of watching sports broadcasts. Unfortunately, for many people this dream was unrealizable for many years, because good sound required a special room, huge speakers and expensive amplifiers. But these days, getting impressive sound for your home theater is made much easier with soundbar and subwoofer kits that combine compactness, ease of installation, and sound quality that far exceeds what even the best TV speakers can offer.

SVEN Company actively develops the line of such devices, traditionally combining high quality of performance with the price making its products affordable for a wide range of consumers. The SB-2400DD soundbar and wireless subwoofer set has received all the most popular technologies, which allows it to provide an excellent level of user comfort and really good sound. The main difference from past models is, of course, support for Dolby Digital Plus multi-channel digital sound system - the product is capable of playing even the most modern content.

The total power is extremely impressive - 400 W, of which 240 W comes from the subwoofer with a speaker of 145 mm in diameter. It is made of MDF, has a large volume and provides truly powerful bass. Mid and high frequencies are reproduced by a sound bar that houses four speakers with a diameter of 70 mm. In general, the package covers the widest range from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, providing equally high sound quality for both dialogue and special effects.

The installation and connection process remains as simple and straightforward as with all products in the line. The subwoofer connects to the main unit wirelessly - you don't have to pull a cable from the soundbar to it, you only need to connect the power supply, allowing you to place it where it will provide the most impressive woofer sound and blend in best with the interior. The soundbar can be placed on a shelf or hung on the wall below the TV using the mounts provided.

There are several inputs for connecting audio sources. First to be mentioned, of course, is HDMI ARC, the most advanced and convenient option with two-way audio transmission and Dolby Digital Plus support. But there are others that allow you to connect to the system not only TVs, but also different kinds of players and game consoles. SVEN SB-2400DD has both digital optical input and analog AUX with a 3.5 mm jack. Bluetooth can be used to connect with mobile gadgets.

All information about the system's operation appears on a convenient display that will not interfere with movie watching thanks to the automatic shut-off function. Control can be carried out using the own remote control unit or the TV remote control unit thanks to support for HDMI CEC technology. Additionally, the main keys are duplicated on the side panel of the soundbar, so if you are near the device, you won't have to look for the remote control. SVEN SB-2400DD sound can be additionally adjusted to the user's tastes and reproduced content - the built-in equalizer with a number of presets for the most popular scenarios of the set use will help in this.
