To update the firmware, do the following: 

1) Write the firmware file "fw5000.upd" to a USB flash drive (up to 4GB). The USB flash drive must be formatted in FAT32, the USB flash drive must only contain the firmware file; 
2) Turn on the soundbar. Set the soundbar to AUX mode. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the soundbar, you will hear the first beep, the firmware has started; 
3) The soundbar will automatically update the software. When the update is complete, the soundbar will emit a second beep, when the firmware is complete, the device will switch to ST-BY mode. 
4) Remove the USB flash drive from the USB port of the soundbar; 
5) The update is complete.
